John led the development of the Schedule of Accommodation for the Skills and Academic Research Centre at the new Sunshine Coast University Hospital. This involved bringing five stakeholders together – The University of Queensland, The University of the Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Coast TAFE, the Queensland Health District, and the Queensland Skills Development Centre – to create a collaborative education and research environment. This space provides for cutting edge medical and health skills training facilities as well as providing a research base for those working in the health sector.
