John has a long history with the new Royal Adelaide Hospital (nRAH) project having written the original workspace brief as part of another firm, he was re-engaged to assist with stakeholder and transition management. His role is specifically to assist nRAH staff to understand and transition to the new workspace at the hospital.
In order to do this John has spent significant periods working with the Hospital to both map existing working practices, develop appropriate workplace layouts for each Division through the Design Development stage of the project, and is now working with the Commissioning Managers to develop appropriate change strategies.
This new workplace, developed from first principles, provides multiple and diverse worksettings to support the new model of care at the hospital. While it is not a Activity Based Workplace, it has borrowed many of these philosophies to create a truly modern clinical workplace.
